Born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, Alex currently resides in San Diego where he composes, produces, and performs. A recent alumni of UC San Diego, Alex studied Jazz piano with renowned professor, Kamau Kenyatta. In addition to the piano, Alex plays the accordion, in which he plays a variety of genres ranging from French waltz to Colombian cumbia.
