World Music Recording Artist and DJ “Indio Jackson” was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, and began his artistic career at age 15, by mixing elements of Afro-Brazilian Percussion and Capoeira. Indio has played as a DJ at events all over the country specializing as an Open Format DJ, and genres such as Latin House, Funk Carioca, Reggaeton and R&B.
Twenty-five years of exposure on the artistic scene has allowed Indio many opportunities to explore his craft as a multi-instrumentalist.
All of which have enabled him to evolve into the extraordinarily versatile Artist of today.
In 2014, Indio Jackson was invited to be part of the World Cup Official Music Video "We are One" performed by Pitbull, J.Lo and Claudia Leitte.
He has graced the stages at the American Airlines Arena and the Mandalay Bay Arena, and has appeared on Telemundo and Univision.
