His first gig was a private event for President Lyndon Johnson in 1967 at the age of 17. Now, with over 50 years of experience playing around the United States, Canada and Mexico, Julio de la Huerta has made his home in San Diego, performing at all of the most exclusive restaurants, hotels and private events in town. He can perform as a solo guitarist, or can bring a variety of professional singers & additional instrumentation, depending on the desires of the host.
