Lafayette Blues Band

Lafayette is a Texan Blues Man known for his soulful vocals and his stinging guitar leads. Raised in Austin, Texas, Lafayette previously made his name as a “real blues man” in San Diego as the front man of Lafayette and The Lease Breakers. He's been playing in San Diego for a number of years with his Lafayette Blues Band and as part of the host band for the JammingOut at HOB every Wednesday.

As Lafayette likes to say, "You gotta get grown to play the blues. I think blues is an experience. It’s not just copying someone and playing licks. It’s finding that sound that comes from within you." And that's what you hear from him. He has that passion, guitar talent and voice for the blues.
