MINOR MOOD SWING is a Gypsy Jazz Acoustic Trio featuring: PAUL OLIVES (guitar), LAURA BEAN (guitar), & ERIC PITTMAN (stand-up bass). A charming showcase of swing jazz originating from 1930s Paris by legendary French-Romani guitarist, Django Reinhardt.
Gypsy Jazz (also called Jazz Manouche or Hot Club Jazz) is light-hearted and super fun music... enjoyed equally by the laid-back conversation crowd pining for a soothing background, as well as, front-and-center music lovers on the lookout for any opportunity to dance and clap.
