Born with a melody in my veins and raised on Abuela's telenovela soundtrack, I'm Monica, a soulful singer-songwriter weaving together Pop, R&B, Neo-Soul, Latin, Classics, Alt-Rock, Kid-friendly songs, and more! Whether it's belting out power ballads by female singers (Adele, Dolly Parton, Ariana Grande, Stevie Nicks and more), or whispering smooth Jazz and Neo-Soul tunes (new and old) I pour my heart into every note. But the stage isn't just for covers – When applicable, I also love to share my original music, which fuses these genres.

Whether it's impromptu karaoke, songs made up on the spot, handing out shakers to the audience, music trivia, or taking requests, I enjoy engaging with listeners in a meaningful and fun way! My sets are often eclectic, catering to patrons and audience members, As a Music therapist and teacher, my experience also includes providing therapeutic, family-friendly live music performances for children, older adults, and vulnerable populations.
Instruments and Set Information:
- Keyboard: I am available to play a full keyboard set for up to 4-hours (Upbeat, Mellow, or a Mix)
- Guitar: I am available to play a full guitar set for up to 3 hours. (Upbeat, Mellow, or a Mix)
- Hybrid: I can alternate between guitar and keyboard as needed
- Percussion: I can play foot tambourine for more upbeat songs.
Technical Specifications:
I own a small PA system (Harbinger M-100) suitable for up to 2000 sq ft. spaces.
