Stonesteps is an acoustic flute and guitar duo based in North Coastal San Diego. These highly skilled musicians rehearse within earshot of Stonesteps Beach in Encinitas and the sound of the pacific influences their music, which ranges from contemporary and classic rock, to Irish folk.
While much of the music the duo plays is familiar, it receives a fresh acoustic touch. Favorites include selections from Coldplay, Pink Floyd, the Police, Led Zeppelin, U2, Mumford & Sons, and Moody Blues.
Flutist Jessica Yui delights audiences with her fresh interpretations of rock and Irish music. Classically trained, she is known for her exquisite tone and expressive phrasing. She holds a degree in music from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
