Jeremy Reta Jackson

Originally from Long Beach California, Jeremy Reta Jackson has been playing music since the age of 5 when he received his first guitar. Coming from a musical family he learned how to play jazz and blues at an early age. At 9 years old he picked up the saxophone and soon developed a natural ability to improvise prior to taking any private lessons. Throughout High School he studied music theory and eventually went on to become the lead saxophonist in the Humboldt State University Jazz Band. After moving to back to Southern California he soon began playing with some of the best DJs around the San Diego/Los Angeles area. He has played countless big acts including the likes of KAABOO, Big Night San Diego NYE , Parq Nightclub, Horizon Music Festival, Musicbox, High-Times Magazine, Yelp!, Google, Hornblower, the list goes on. Currently, Jeremy is focusing on private events, weddings, and music festivals where he performs alongside popular EDM DJs.

Mojo Repair Shop is San Diego's party band, playing all your funk, soul and blues favorites, sure to get the dance floor groovin'! Featuring some of San Diego's best jazz musicians, each show is living and breathing, with no tune played the same way twice. We love requests and love to make shows special for our guests! Featuring Kaylee Daugherty on vocals, Joe Welnick on keys, Josh Frontiero on drums and Antar Martin on bass, though sometimes the party is bigger in a quintet+! Our package is complete with our new band uniforms hot off the press, complete with our band name embroidered on our backs of our leopard-print Dickies wear and our names embroidered on the fronts, a la mechanic.

Ashford Gordon hails from the Eastern part of Mississippi. He has entertained in St. Louis, the greater Southwest, Ventura/Oxnard/Los Angeles area. His group, The Local Group, consists of Keyboards, Bass, Drums, Guitar (saxophone, optional). Most of his material is original, but the group also covers such blues artists as Joe Bonamassa, Tommy Castro, John Mayer, B.B. King, Albert King.
