Reggie Garrett & the SnakeOil Peddlers

Reggie Garrett has been performing throughout the Western U.S. and Canada for many years performing mostly original songs mixed with pop covers and traditional folk ballads. His music is quite diverse tapping into urban acoustic Folk music, Gospel, Latin rhythms, Blues, Celtic and many other forms. He performs both solo and with his group Reggie Garrett & the SnakeOil Peddlers. Since its inception the band has carved out its own unique sound. Through the years the music changed, gradually shifting towards a hybrid with both acoustic and electric instrumentation. RG&SOP perform both as a quartet and an acoustic trio giving audiences an experience both subtle and complex. This amazing ensemble includes Reggie Garrett (vocals/acoustic guitar), Richard Middleton (acoustic/electric guitars & keyboards), Will Dowd (drums/percussion) with the addition of Keith Lowe (bass) for the quartet, The sound has strong rhythmic underpinnings, beginning with Garrett’s almost percussive guitar style. His singing reflects the folk/ rock/gospel traditions with which he grew up. He has been compared to acoustic legends Richie Havens and Bill Withers by the national folk publication Dirty Linen. As a songwriter Garrett’s specialty is creating and enhancing a mood. From Pistol River, OR to Rock Island, IL; from Duncan, BC Canada to San Luis Obispo, CA Mr. Garrett and his group have delighted audiences of all ages.

The Spiritual Motels

The Spiritual Motels came onto the San Diego music scene in mid-2018 and consists of two of its veteran singer-songwriters. Featuring Amy Day of The Local and Omar Musisko of The Peripherals (former San Diego Music Award nominee for Best Americana), The Spiritual Motels blend a uniquely haunting female voice with a nuanced Americana/Alt-Country male voice to create lush harmonies and a sound that has been compared to The Head and the Heart, The Avett Brothers, and Simon and Garfunkel. Switching instruments through the set, the band utilizes guitar, piano, mandolin, accordion, harmonica, effects, and live loops/loop pedals.

Singer-Songwriter Keahi was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Inspired by his grandmother, he begun to find success at an early age by writing songs that won many local contests and for his high school graduating class.

DAN & OCEAN. are a Soul, Americana, & Jazz Roots duo comprised of Dan DiMonte and Ocean Lorraine. Two years after meeting at an audition in Torrance, California and embarking on 2 consecutive tours across the United States, the two decided to combine threads from their individual solo careers to craft a powerhouse blend of American Folk, Soul, Gospel Blues, and Jazz styles. Spreading their own intrepid brand of “Come Up Music,” their mission centers on painting real-life portraits of companionship, isolation, healing, and strength in a troubled world. Both highly-educated multi-instrumentalists, vocalists, composers, and producers, DAN & OCEAN. are a rare mix of tradition, raw talent, and entrepreneurship that finds them standing out wherever they go. A Chicago native, Dan has mastered the art of singing while playing guitar, trumpet, and keyboard simultaneously with spectacular results. Ocean, an accomplished singing bassist, percussionist, and emcee from Los Angeles, brings their fresh once-in-a-generation chemistry together. DiMonte’s 6th studio album titled The Coronado Kid, Pt. 1: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack under the Funky Night Nurse Sounds and Sights label, features Ocean on two tracks — the shimmering soul-anthem “Son of the Moon” and funky bass and horn rocker “Outside Cat,” which was released as a single on July 5, 2019. The EP debuts worldwide on October 4, 2019, in the midst of the duo’s upcoming 12-week U.S. Tour kicking off in the Pacific Northwest. Next, DAN & OCEAN. will travel to Asia to release the album during the Winter 2019 - 2020 season. Trains Across the Sea

Trains Across the Sea combines the confessional honesty of Townes Van Zandt with the sly wit of The Magnetic Fields, laying simple and heartbreaking lyrics against the backdrop of Americana music. Primarily the work of Andy Gallagher along with a host of collaborators, Trains has played hundreds of local and national shows over the years and has enjoyed a recorded output of five albums. After the critical acclaim of 2013’s “What a Day, What a Time We Had,” Andy cowrote and produced “SEMI FAME: The Truck Route to Broadway,” a musical about truckers. Trains Across the Sea is currently recording their sixth album.

Paul and Tawnie

Paul and Tawnie are a musical duo from Temecula California consisting of Paul Teel on vocals and guitar/harmonica and Tawnie Gadban on vocals and ukulele. Apart from being a duo on stage, they are also a duo in real life. Southern California based and brought up with the likes of 90'S Punk and Alternative Rock, the duo spent over a decade in different touring bands. After a brief musical hiatus the pair decided to take on a new musical project playing an eclectic mix of acoustic covers consisting of mostly folk and oldies. From cover songs from artists like Simon and Garfunkel to more modern folky renditions of 90's hits, their live sets are always unpredictable and appeal to any age group.

The band was named after a J.J Cale song “Humdinger” from his “Travelog” album and the slang term that means “a remarkable person or outstanding thing of it’s kind.” Began in 2017 the strength in The Humdingers music is picking great cover songs and rearranging or “humdingerize” them in their own peculiar way and in order to become one of the most versatile and eclectic Americana/Roots bands in the San Diego area with their blend of acoustic/electric instruments and vocals. A Singer Songwriter hailing from Portland, OR Jake London has been a professional musician for over 10 years. He has toured locally and nationally and has played many notable stages throughout his career including the infamous Hotel Cafe, House of Blues and many more. Jake has written, recorded and released multiple albums, one being under a subsidiary of Sony Music. His music can be found on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube among many others. In 2015 Jake worked with grammy award winning producer Phil Allen (Adele, Pink) to record a side project under the moniker CITY OF NEON which can also be found on various outlets. Jake is a regular performer throughout Southern California and he draws his musical influence from many great artists of the past. Some of his favorites include: Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, John Mayer and many more. Jake’s vocal talent paired with years of guitar practice has gained him a loyal following and his passion for the craft of music is evident in every song he performs.
