Kenny Beaumont
Kenny Beaumont is a guitarist & singer songwriter born and raised in San Diego, California with over 25 years of experience. Kenny's talent focuses on genres such as Reggae, Rock, Blues, Jazz and Brazilian. At the age of 15, Kenny was playing in the blues circuit of southeast San Diego in clubs like The Dolphin Inn, Montford Point, and American Legion. It was there that Kenny honed his skills with blues greats like Willie Jaye, Tom Cat Courtney, June Bug, and Ninne Brown. For the next six years, Kenny remained playing throughout San Diego until the age of 21 when he decided travel to Brazil and transition into the music scene. With his Brazilian heritage stemming from his mother's side, Kenny easily adapted to the country's music and culture scene. For the next 10 years studied Brazilian culture, which landed him a spot as the lead vocalist/guitarist for a successful band called "Matutaia". During that time Kenny performed for many audiences while opening for many artists like Gloria Gayner, Barao Vermelho, Kid De Abelha, Dick Dale, and Jorge Ben." In 2006 Kenny returned to San Diego and is now currently living and performing once again in the San Diego music scene. He brings many exciting styles to the stage that he has learned throughout his life both in San Diego and in Brazil. Kenny plays many favorite artists whom we all recognize and appreciate today as well as original music for a wide range of audiences from 1-200 people at private parties, weddings, clubs gigs and corporate events.
